Good day to all.

I am, obviously, new here. I joined on Barbara Tewksbury's recommendation and have been find some very good info in here.

I have been a kilt wearer for a long time and have never bought one. I have made all of the kilts I have worn, but, decided to find out how to do it in a more professional way.

As for sewing, I have been doing my own and my family's sewing work for a while, especially historic reproduction clothing. I also do my own pattern drafting, most of the time. I have been into living history since I was teenager. We currently do the middle ages and renaissance.

I also am a bit of a sewing machine Luddite. I use a 102 year old Singer Model 12 treadle machine that left the Singer factory in December of 1912. It runs like a champ. As long as it runs I probably will never use another electric.

Other than that I am very much the modern tech user. I own a tiny one man drafting service and live in small town coastal NC. Most other things are up for negotiation as long as the wife approves.

That's about it.
