Another Virginian goes kilted
I'm joining your forum today. Glad to here! I guess I'll be throwing away some pants. Purchased a kilt about 6 years ago, but only wore it occasionally, usually while hiking. I've purchased a new one today, which will hopefully fit better.
Has anyone any idea what tartan this is? It is a great looking tartan, but I wasn't able to find any examples of it on any of the "tartan finders" I knew of. Being a total newbie, well, I hope you won't mind the question. If possible, maybe the moderator will cross post it in the "tartans" forum for me.
Cheers!

Welcome aboard!
Welcome to a large VA contingent!
Can't help you with the tartan to save my soul. The Scottish Tartan Registry may be of some assistance, unless one of our more learned members chimes in.

Welcome from Wisconsin!
Nice looking tartan! I would be interested in knowing the name too.

Welcome from a Scotsman living in the English midlands. I'm not sufficiently expert to identify the tartan - I'll be interested to see what it is!

A warm Scottish welcome from middle England.
It is a little difficult to see the detail in the tartan, but could it be Grant?
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
