Been waiting for years

Hi all. New here and new to kilts, but not the idea. I've been waiting a kilt for many years and finally ordered one 7 weeks ago. It just came in yesterday and I'm thrilled to be wearing it tomorrow. I also purchased a utility kilt I hope to wear out soon but wanted my first experience to be in a tartan. Also excited for the local Kilt fest in two months. Hope to learn much here and maybe meet other people from my area.

Thanks for the welcome! And a extra shout out to my fellow Jersey kilt brothers. Loved my day in my kilt. I know it's a bit "cookie cutter" for some here but that's the way I've always admired it. Of course I'll play around with other options and leave the cream hoes and ghillies for special occasions. Loved all the attention I got at church service yesterday and all but one had nothing but wonderful things to say. Thanks again.
