Hello all, my name is Adam Navin. I am the District Commissioner for Ohio, representing the Clan MacNaughton Association Worldwide.

I have attempted to trace my family name back as far as possible, reaching Dennis Nevin, from Galway Ireland in the early 1800s. When they moved to New York area thereafter the name was commonly written as Navin.

I have thrown myself into finding more of my family history as well as embracing the Scottish heritage. I have worn the Great Kilt/Belted Plaid to dofferent Scottish games as well as the more modern plaids. I took the time to learn leatherwork so that I could make my own sporrans to keep it traditional.
