    Clan MacQuarrie & Clan MacNicol

Just a quick intro - hubby is the Clan MacNicol but isn't real active online. I'm the Clan MacQuarrie. No kilts as yet, well except the one my dad had and now belongs to my youngest brother. I don't plan on getting a kilt. Most probably I will get a sash to wear. Hubby plans on getting a kilt at some point. We don't have a lot of occasion to wear them, mostly formal nights on an annual cruise and at the one or two Scottish Games/Festivals we might attend.

He's a retired firefighter/paramedic/chief from Maryland and I'm a retired IT professional who currently writes mystery novels. We were full-time RVers for ten years (excepting the two years we lived in Ecuador - our grand adventure). We bought a house in Tennessee two years ago and are now snowbirds in the winter months.

We just attend our first games in Green Cove Springs, Florida and had a great time. There are several in TN and we hope to attend another one this year.

Well met and welcome new friend. I would recommend starting slow and smart in your kilted adventures. The highland games will be exciting and probably propel you faster into this (as suggested) addiction. Glad to have you (and if you can drag your husband) into the Rabble.
