Clan Muir
Hello from the Great Central Valley of California. I just presented a program on the most popular Californian ever - John Muir (1838-1914), he is on the California quarter, his home is a National Historic Site (Martinez CA), his birthplace in Dunbar, Scotland, is visited more and more. The John Muir web site gets lots of visitors: http://www.sierraclub.org/john_muir_exhibit/. My vehicle license plate since September 1970 has been J MUIR. The Central California Scottish Society is alive and doing well. http://web.scottishsociety.org/
