Like "Scot or Not" my wife bemusedly shakes her head wondering what has gotten into the head and wallet of her man. The fact is that I think nothing is more handsome on a man than a kilt and I've always been tempted to own one. I was invited to emcee an event along with another gentlemen, with us both agreeing to wear kilts, and that was the final push. It arrived in August from Edinburgh. I had a great time wearing it....and enjoy all aspects of the humor of what is or is not worn under the kilt (and I have a good time singing "The Scotsman" concerning the same subject). I sense the kilt is much like a tux. If you have it, you'll wear it. Next chance will be next Sunday at church for the "Kirkin' of the Tartan" It does help to be Presbyterian! And I fiddle in a Scottish Country Dance orchestra which I have recently jointed so the kilt is the uniform of choice for those festivities. I suspect my neighbors will enjoy seeing me in the kilt....and to tell the truth, it's the most beautiful piece of clothing I have ever had.
Feeling great in me kilt!
