First day onboard. Hello from the Welsh contingent.
Hi folks
After reading this forum for a little while it seems most of you guys live outside of the Scottish Isles as I do.
I must admit I do live a little closer than a lot of you, in Wales.
As another Celt I hope I'm welcomed here and look forward to many interesting, thought provoking, discussions. Or we can have a laugh.
Do I wear a kilt. No I'm afraid not. Would I like to, yes I do believe I would. You don't see many Welsh folks walking down Newport town centre in kilts. In fact I can't remember one. It seems that they only come out for weddings and funerals. A bit like those cousins you don't really like.
This has got to be the longest I've typed into my computer for weeks, so logging off.
Cheers
Maffs

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Thank you.
I shall certainly keep my eyes peeled, thanks for the heads up about the other Welshy
From your quote I see you're a Val Doonican fan Phil. As I must be, as I seem to have a sweater collection only bettered by the great man himself.
Cheers
Maffs
