First Kilt in Upstate NY
I received a SportKilt (clergy) for xmas. I asked for the clergy as it is close to the Clark tartan. I also have McDondald (ranald) blood. So far I've only worn it at home. I've sewn down the fell, made a Rob Roy style sporran, and my wife knitted me some nice kilt hose. I may be going to a Burns Dinner later this month so need a jacket. I'll probably modify a thrift store jacket but it won't be a fancy one. I also intend to wear the kilt to the Sterling Renaissance Festival www.sterlingfestival.com this summer. I will also wear it for some of the running races I participate in, which is why I asked for a sport kilt to begin with. Williamson Apple Blossom 5K, Johnny's Running of the Green (an Irish pub race) etc. So, Hello, How you doing?

Welcome to the "Great Rabble!"
Actually, Clark and clergy are one and the same. A "clark" is a clerk, and we clergy are "clerks in holy orders."

Hello and welcome from Southern California. My wife is a Clark, but she prefers the more muted Clark Ancient. I also really like the hose your wife made.
