First Light
Hello, This past August (2019) my wife and I had a most joyous and satisfying trip to the Highlands under the personal guidance of a private tour guide. This along with a considerable quantity of Balblair Single Malt, Single Cask Scotch Whisky led me to research my surname, to find it a sept of Clan Gunn. Clan Gunn had a rather unfortunate history, I am nevertheless very proud to adopt the Gunn sett. I am so stoked that I have acquired a great plaid and I am slowly gaining experience with folding the plaid. When the British are burning the crops, I can't take twenty minutes to get dressed to join the fray, so I just ordered a Premier 8 Yard Wool Kilt Gunn Modern, Lochcarron, 16 oz. The next ten weeks will seem to pass at a glacial pace. BTW, haggis at the Sheep Heid Inn is delightful. I hope I haven't violated any of the site rules with my first post. Slàinte Mhath

Hello from Maine
Welcome aboard from another sept of Clan Gunn. I don't have a Gunn tartan. I wear my Marine Corps "Leatherneck".

Welcome!! Where did you buy the kilt from? Everywhere seems to take eternity but there is so much work that goes into weaving the tartan!

Order Date: February 27, 2020
Premier 8 Yard Wool Kilt
Gunn Modern, Lochcarron, 16 oz.
My Great Plaid was sourced by our personal tour guide (Andy of Highland Tours) after we returned from our summer visit, so I don't know the mill or retail vendor.
