Have been lurking and learning for a couple of months and really appreciate all of the information and back and forth on the forum. The attached is a photo of my first time out in public in the kilt. It was a small church meeting that ended up being me and seven women. All of the comments and attention were positive. Next on the to-buy list are a sporran strap and more conservative belt. Suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Looking sharp. My advice is worry less about it ‘all being right” and instead wear often - as the comfort of doing so increases along with the enjoyment.

Took me a long time to find a simple buckle belt. I suggest the vendors on the site. Also, you might find a good sporran strap at a second-hand store. Women's thin belts can do nicely.
