French kilt wearer
Hello and thank you for welcoming me to the Forum. I am French and I am a new kilt wearer.
I had dreamed of it for a long time and I finaly bought my first kilt last Friday, a black PV kilt.
Sunday I went for a walk on the Normandy beaches in kilt with my wife. One or two gusts of wind they tried to discourage me but I held on and finished my walk. A few curious or questioning looks, but nothing more.

Welcome, from Inverness-shire. I too wear the kilt in Normandy on very special occasions, mainly in the Avranches area, but have worn the kilt, again for a special occasion, on the Normandy beaches near Ouistreham.
