G'day from Brisvegas
Hi all, my first post. I have been an avid reader and decided it was time to take the plunge, both in terms of joining the forum and buying my first kilt (an Ulster Red from Scotweb in case you were curious). I was a kilt wearer as a boy scout (6th Hamilton (Scottish)) and am looking forward to getting kilted again. I have also been having fun designing tartans using the scotweb design tool, but my attempts are still too amateurish to share. But I am looking forward to getting some feedback when I am ready. All the best, John.

Welcome from the English West Midlands. All the best for your kilt-wearing. I visited Brisbane last year - great place, in spite of atrocious weather! (in the middle of the floods!)

Another Melbourne greeting.
Maybe you'll need to come South to where the

Welcome aboard mate. One acknowledges the outcome of this year's Origin series. Right, that's out of the way. Good luck to the Reds on Saturday, I hope they do the rest of the competition a favour and knock off the Crusaders. Is that one of the Australian tartans depicted in your avatar? I hope you enjoy wearing your kilt as much as I do mine.
