G'day from Sydney
Hello all,
Just joined the forum after a few days of observation.
I'm a Scot living in Sydney Australia and my interest in wearing the kilt has just been re-kindled.
In my youth I went to School in Rannoch, in Perthshire and then in Edinburgh. I wore the kilt most weekends then. Those kilts (a family tartan one and a Seaforth Highlanders one) were destroyed in a flood when I was living in Switzerland some years ago.
On moving to Sydney I observe that wearing the kilt is acceptable (compared to Switzerland) and an ideal flexible solution for the more formal occasions.
I must say kilt outfits seem to have changed quite a bit in the last 30 odd years. It was less fancy back then.
Looking forward to reading and contributing.
