Good afternoon! -from Maryland, USA
Good afternoon from a new-ish and proud kilt wearer in MD. My name is Logan and I'm currently Active Duty in the US Air Force and I bought my first great kilt last year from Renaissance Fair here in MD from Wolfstone Kilt Co., and fell in love immediately!
I've now got three different kilts: the great kilt I've already mentioned (in Black Watch tartan), what they called a "Battle Kilt" AKA "Ancient Kilt", in an unknown tartan (I'll probably post pics and hopefully find out from where the tartan comes), and a "Wee Kilt" (4yds I think) in solid black which I wear almost daily (I've been told solid colors is of more Irish tradition). I'm now hoping to get a kilt for every day of the week, and forgo trousers almost entirely.
I don't have a family tartan nor am I of Scottish ancestry, but I love the freedom and undying style of the kilt. I'm a lucky man with a wife who not only is comfortable with being seen with me in public wearing one, but finds them... appealing. She encourages me to wear the whenever I can! We also recently had a baby boy named Seth and wrapped him in his first tiny little kilt (simply a sash pleated and tied with a ribbon, cutest thing ya ever saw! I'll try to post pictures asap).
I look forward to being part of this community of fellow kilt enthusiasts and good conversation with you all!

Welcome to the forum..
You're among friends here...both as a kilt wearer and also a bunch of brothers in arms.
Wait...can we call the Air Force brothers in arms??? LOL...Just kidding. After all, we can't all be Army or Marines!!
