Good Day from the New River Valley (of Va)
Good Day to the good men and women of this forum. I am a new member, but have been reading posts for months now. My aunt has been working on our genealogy, so I will soon know where my family hails besides just "your Scotts and you should be proud"....
Living just miles from Radford University (who are the Highlanders and who host an annual Highlander Festivel) I am suprised that there are not more public resorses for kilts, highland pride ect, so I have been stalking on here! Also as a Fire Fighter, I have brought up the idea to make the Kilt a optional Dress Uniform for the department. I also have a "itch" to learn the pipes, there is a (semi) local band WarPipe out of Roanoke, Va that i plan on using as a resorse as well as the fine folks of this fourm!
Enough of my rambling, I hope all who read this have a wonderful and Blessed day. I am waiting on 8 to get here so I can go home and sleep!
With Best Reguards ands the Most Respect,
Andrew

Hello and welcome from Ohio.
My brother in law is a philosophy professor and Radford and he wears a kilt to just about all the events that he attends for the school.
