Good morning from the frozen North
Hello,
My name is Duncan Strong. I am a 52 year old Canadian who is getting married soon and is looking to wear a kilt for the cerimony. I have joined your ranks to get and share information, meet some fellow kilt appreciators, and in the hopes of gaining a better knowledge of kilts, their wearing, and all things Scotish. Though my sirname is English I am a Scot from my mother's side (Re:Croll out of Aberdeen) and take great pride in it. Hope you all are having a great day and are a wee bit warmer than we tend to be here.
Regards,
Duncan

Welcome aboard, Duncan, and congratulations on your pending nuptials . Not sure what the mercury says in the 'Peg this morning, but it is a chilly day in Southwestern Ontario. A great day to be thinking about 8 yards of pure wool.

Hi Plaid Preacher,
Only -6 here today but unseasonably warm this week. Going to -13 tommorow and then back to -28 next week. Whatever doesn't freeze you makes you stronger....or makes you wonder why you choose to live in an ice cube. Yards and yards of wool are definately an idea, lol
