    So cool to have a Cornish speaker here!

    I really should study Cornish. I took a Scots Gaelic course in college, and that along with an incidental smattering of Irish and Cornish along the way does allow me to understand a bit of the Cornish you wrote there, but I should delve into Cornish.

    My family were miners from Tywardreath. Here's where my Great-Grandparents were baptized and married.



    They came to West Virginia and continued in mining. My Grandfather was a miner too.

    Hopefully you'll excuse the photos... as you'll find out I do love photos!

    I play a few different sorts of pipes including the Cornish pipes. Here I'm playing for a gathering of Cornish Bards



    Not finding any of the existing Cornish tartans particularly attractive, and being a professional artist, I set myself to the difficult task of designing a tartan that looks cloth-like, yet includes the non-cloth emblems of the Bezants and St Pirans Flag. I did a load of ugly designs, and finally came up with one pretty good one:
