greeting from swaziland
im from swaziland,a town which was name New Scotland by the scottish settlers because of it's misty cold weather.I'm the grandson of two highland scotsmen who passed away before i was born...swaziland's black community is made up of people who think we are crazy boys wearing skirts, but we walk tall and proud in our kilts, listening to bagpipe tunes

Welcome!! My surrounding community thinks I am crazy too, but not because of the kilts. They have far better reasons.

Welcome to the Forvm from London UK. I loved my visit to Swaziland a few years ago, such a happy and friendly people. I spent a day with a farmer and his family in the highlands of Swazi.
They served a meal of warthog shot with a bow and arrow, and pap. He was so proud of his wife and his 40 goats. He said he wanted more... goats and wives!
Yes I can imagine how the people view your kilts!

From Swaziland, I remember the friendly and generous people, the gorgeous baskets, and the beautiful scenery. What part of Swaziland do you live in?
