Greeting from Texas, Y'a...
Nope not going to say it. I'm not from Texas, but living in Austin now. I'm originally from southern Maine. I have a mixed blood background of Irish. Scotish, and... French. Hey, 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
I just started getting more in tune with the Scot/Irish side - RenFest was also a bit motivating as well. So, I have been doing research on Scotish and Irish history and the history of the clothing etc.
I joined a few days ago and have spoke with some of you already and you all have been really helpful in helping with putting something together... and I'll soon be getting that first kilt.
Anyways - look forward to talking with you and hopefully having some insight of my own.
