Greetings
I have been lurking for a bit, and finally decided to sign up.
Right now I am spending the summer in Columbia/Laurel, MD. I am going to school in Melbourne, FL, and am from Seattle, WA. I bought my first kilt (UK) about 2 years ago, and bought an AmeriKilt about a year ago. Looking to get another sometime soon.
Cheers!

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Hello and a warm Celtic from Boston, Massachusetts
For the new kilt, take a look at the various board sponsors. The UK, and AK are very contemporary, and are a different wear than the traditional, and semi traditional knife or box pleated kilt. I find my AKs and UK great for general clumping around in, but for dressing up, I prefer to be in one of my USAK Semi traditional tartan kilts, or my SWK standard (see avatar). For real semi-formal, and formal occasions, I prefer my House of Edgar (Scotland) wool kilts. Welcome to the Rabble, you will find much information here.
