Greetings!
Thanks to that wonderful search engine (google, not cuil) I have found this board. I am a 56 yo systems engineer for television broadcast living just outside the Big Apple. I am second generation American of Scottish descent, my family came over when my Grandfather was 17. I am very interested in history, especially family history, of late. Any time I can hook up with people of similar interest, I think it a plus, so here I am.

Welcome Bob,
Guessing you're kilted up...? If not, you're in the right place. If so, you're in the right place.
Big Apple...must be somewhere in Washington State....how delicious.

I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
