Greetings, all.
Glad to be here.
I wanted a kilt for years and finally bought it a couple of years ago, when I performed a wife upgrade (second marriage). I no longer wear my tuxedo at all, opting for the kilt and Prince Charlie jacket, as seen in my profile picture.
I wear the kilt with a polo or T-shirt for Scottish games, and recently acquired a tweed Argyle jacket for those "somewhere in the middle" occasions.
I'm working on putting together a local Scottish society to give me more excuses to wear my kilt.

Welcome to the board, mate!

Welcome to the forum Bob. I hope it wasn't necessary to do a wife upgrade just to get a kilt, many of us have had challenges getting the fairer sex to accept the kilt, but that would be a bit extreme
I have 10 kilts but have yet to buy a jacket, I hope to remedy that soon.

My "upgrade" says all you need to do is take your "upgrade" out more often!!

Just extend that thought to casual use outside of The Games.
I have UKs, not traditionals, but I wear them to class, dinner, the supermarket, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, etc., ...pretty much anywhere I want to.
