I just found this place; invited by JohnAllen. Looks great. It is real nice to have a board that is not a soapbox for, how shall I say it gently, odd notions.

I've been wearing kilts for about 40 years. I just wish good ones were a little cheaper!

Welcome freedomlover, glad you found us, yes we're a nice bunch of people here. We come from differing ideas, beliefs, places and cultures but we all share one passion - whisky, I mean KILTS.

You'll meet some kiltmakers here that may convince you that while the BEST kilts are expensive (as you rightly say), there are some very GOOD kilts that are inexpensive, at least, so i have found.

I hope you'll keep coming here and share the wisdom you've gained in 40 years of kilting.
