Greetings, all!
Greetings!
I'm a new member, from Pensylvania! I currently have 2 kilts, a Black UK (workman's) and an 8 yard traditional (tartan).
I've posted to the Bravehearts list a time or tow, and I've been "lurking" here for a while. Seemed like it was about time I went "official"

Welcome Hal!
Since you've been lurking, you know we're a friendly bunch. I hope you'll jump into the discussions so we can get to know you better.
I'm from Pittsburgh originally, btw. Moved to CA in 1973. Whereabouts in PA are you?

Hal,
Consider this an official WELCOME Glad that you are now posting on this board where the conversation is great and the kilts are plentiful.
Again welcome.

Hello, Hal!
Now, the first lesson of this forum is that you can't say you've got a tartan kilt without telling [or showing] us which tartan!
We all must support each other in fueling our addiction.

Oops. My bad! "Hughes" tartan (Wales)(to the stripe). I'll see if I can figure out how to make an avatar out of it (seems as good a place to start as any!
And, thanks to all for the warm welcome!

That's very nice, Hal. Very nice indeed.
And I was just kidding about what you can or can't do; the mechanism for enforcement is lacking.
Here, have a lightbulb, on the house

That's one fine looking tartan. Makes me wish I knew of a Hughes in my family...
