Greetings to all from Maryland, USA

I am a member of the Knights of St. Andrew and am in love with a wonderful Scottish lass. Not surprisingly, it was high time I attired myself properly...I now have an Argyll jacket, kilt, sporran, and the rest of the regalia. By the time we become hand fasted, I am sure a Prince Charlie, waist coat and kilt of her tartan will be added. So much to learn....

Welcome from across the Appalachians, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
I can tell you from personal experience that by marrying a bonnie Scot lassie, you have chosen a challenging but highly rewarding path in life.
If you have not already so surmised, many of us of the Great Kilted Rabble here are picture addicts, to the point of discounting descriptions of Highland wear not including them. They very efficiently answer many common questions, i.e. what kind of kilt, Argyle jacket, sporran, etc., and which tartan(s)?
