Greetings from Central Florida!
I'm a newbie on the board, and also a newbie to kilts. I bought one at a recently attended Celtic Festival in Dunedin, FL, and have worn it to a couple of Highland Games, and to a celebration of Tartan Day at a local pub. My wife and I both enjoy attending various Celtic and Highland events, and hope to meet some folks with similar interests. My wife is an active member of the Florida Outlander Fan Club, and I also enjoy the books and the TV series.
I'm retired Navy, and that is the tartan I wear. Originally from Boston, and a loyal Red Sox fan. Varied interests. I collect knives and edged weapons, putter around in our small vegetable garden, and do a lot of reading.
Looking forward to meeting some of you at local events.

Just be careful to read the rules on weapons if you want to discuss those sharp and pointy things!
