Greetings from the cornfields of central Illinois!
Good day, all,
I felt like today would be a good day to de-lurk :-)
It's wonderful to see such a huge number of kilt enthusiasts here. My interest came from trying on a UK at an event over the Memorial Day weekend this year, and I've not looked back since! The collection has grown to six since then, and I'm looking forward to reading and sharing more over time!

Thanks so much, Bill! I'm wishing I'd given this a try years ago, but better late than never, eh? :-)
That particular pipe (Ardor 'Urano' finish, shape 28) came from a collector show in Chicago I've been going to the last 14 years or so, and it's one of my favorites to go out trekking with :-)

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
