Greetings from the Fens, England
Hello. Have just joined your site and this just to say hello. I live in the Fens in the east of England. English by birth but scottish by ancestry. My father was a MacAskill (think that's the right spelling) from Georgia. On special occasions (weddings, 6 Nations Rugby etc) or just when it's very hot, I wear a MaCleod of Harris tartan kilt as we are a Sept of that clan. I would like a kilt in MacAskill tartan but as it's not 'run of the mill' they tend to be very expensive. Looking forward to being part of this group, good luck to you all.

Well met Bill. I find my family tartan is still beyond my budget at present. The "Piggy bank" fattens as I type this however. The family kilt is something to scrimp and save for. Good to have you with us.

Hello, Bill, from a Scotsman living in the West Midlands. You say you wear a kilt when it's very hot! At this moment, it seems TOO hot for kilting!
