greetings from the first state
Greetings fellow gentlemen of the kilt, Thomas here from the first city in the first state, New Castle on the Delaware. Glad to be rediscovering my Scottish heritage. I've been away but now I'm back.
Interested in history, re-enactments, (have been doing some of the British campaigns at Fort Mott), hiking, camping, kayaking, and lots more!

Steve, My post was a little misleading. At one point in my life I was involved with the Highland games, Burns nights dinners, Royal Scottish Dance events and many a Hogmanay Ball. Life took me on a different path and I stopped running in those circles, I outgrew my kilts and just lost my heritage for a while. I recently gave my old kilts to a young friend who wanted to know more about all things Scottish. I have been showing him the ropes and rediscovering my heritage. I realize how much I missed wearing a kilt and the whole socialization that goes with that.
What I meant was, I am back in the Scottish community. I have not been a member of this group before. I am very glad to have found it. Thank you for being here.

Welcome from a Scotsman living in the English midlands. Great that you're back into kilt-wearing, like myself in the last few years.
