Greetings Hardy Folks,
As an 11th generation North Carolina native that migrated to the "Magnolia State" (Mississippi USA) and its fantastic town of Oxford, I've proven to, "shy naught from the unknown." Therefore I approach this forum of "Rabble with experience" unabashed and bid ye a sincere, (as the locals here would say) "Damn glad to meet Ya'll." Thank you for the opportunity to listen, enquire and submit my thoughts on my wife's chagrin of "sporting my tartan among the masses." Like a brisk pre-winter wind slipping past flashes, knee and pleat, I look forward to the experience with a chill of excitement. Tarheel

Welcome, from Inverness-shire. Amazingly I know just a wee bit about your town of Oxford! I have never been there, but there is a certain factory there that makes little things that go bang(beware of rule 11), that are regularly used here in the Highlands.
