Greetings from Kansas!!
Hello Gents!
I'm a new kilt wearer from Topeka, bought a UK Workman from a place in Austin. It was pricey, but worth it, at least my wife sure showed her appreciation!
I've downloaded the X-Kilt instructions, and am going to start making one for myself. Out to buy the material today and have one done by weeks end. Otherwise I'm going to go broke buying all the various kilts on the market.
One of these days, I'll be laying down the shekels for a serious kilt in the proper tartan.
Other than a love for kilts, I work in the broadcast industry, and that's taken me around the world (but not to Scotland, yet), and managed to provide me with a fairly decent living.
Some other hobbies include, Astronomy, Reefkeeping, Smoking and grilling, drinking fine spirits (and some not so fine), and generally enjoying the hell out of life.
Enjoy the Independence weekend my American brolies, everyone else, hoist one for a weekend!

Reef keeping is the hobby of operating a salt water based aquarium, where coral is raised and farmed.
I've broken down my 90 gallon reef ready tank for a while, as we are in a remodel but I should have some pictures somewhere.
It's very expensive and quite time consuming, but to kick back with a nice ale, some good music, watching the coral glow under the actinics while the current pushes the fish to and fro is so very relaxing.
