Greetings from Manitoba, Canada
Hello forum members. It is a great pleasure to the X Marks the Scot forum.
I take a great deal of pride in my Scottish heritage and my family's long-time affiliation with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada. It was through this regiment that I first wore a kilt at the age of 12 years as a member of the Cameron Cadet Corp.
I presently own two kilts. One is a formal kilt that I acquired from an outlet in Glasgow, known as Slanj. At the time I purchased my kilt, I also acquired a Prince Charlie outfit with all the accessories, including sporran, hose, flashes, fly plaid, plaid broach and brogues. My kilt is made from the Cameron of Erracht tartan, which is the regimental tartan of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada.
My second kilt is a utility kilt that I obviously wear for casual occasions.
I love my kilts, what they represent and look forward to any occasion to wear one. As I learned very early in life, it takes one hell of a man to wear a kilt.
Again, I look forward to being part of this forum and participating in discussions with like-minded people.
Yours aye,
Allum Aye (Ready Yes)

Welcome to K(U)A - Kilts (Un)Anonymous, you'll find plenty here who are prepared to say "My name is John, and I'm a kilt addict".
Glad to see another Kiltie swelling the ranks.
