    Greetings from Monterey

    Hello everyone,
I'm a Scottish Country Dancer so I wear skirts more than kilts, but I know so many men who wear (and look wonderful in) kilts. I've just spent a couple of hours wandering through this site and enjoying all of it.

I've came here wondering if there are any here who are within driving distance of Salinas, CA and who make their own sporrans. I'm not here to sell anything, but I've finally caught (and euthanized) the masked villain that has murdered at least 11 of my birds in the last month or so (sometimes pulling them through the cage) and would hate to just dump him into a hole in the ground if there were someone who wanted him.

It would also be very kind if someone could tell me which forum it might be appropriate to post this information, I would be very appreciative.

I'm not putting it in my freezer so it would need to go soon, but you never know, the very person who could use it might be just across town from me and would hate to see it go to waste if that were the case. It's face and body are fine and it's tail is missing a bit of fur where it rubbed against the cage.

(for anyone concerned about the legality of this, even out of season, I am absolutely allowed to trap animals that are destroying my property. It is illegal to relocate it; I must either release it within a quarter mile of where I trapped it (and it would be horribly wrong of me to release it where it will just kill someone else's birds), or kill it. While I am not allowed to sell the fur, there is no prohibition against giving it away.)

    Cheers to all,
    Bantymom

    Welcome, from Inverness-shire.

By the way, I love the comment on logic at the bottom of your post!

Hello Bantymom, and welcome to X Marks from all the way on the other side of the country in Delaware. You didn't mention the type of animal; badger, raccoon or??? If you don't freeze it, it will get ripe fairly quickly.

Now, let me slide down out'a this saddle while you pass over a brownie.
