    Greetings from New member

    Hi all,
Wearing a kilt for Ren Faire use for a few years now. Have been watching the site for a while - been thinking of a home-made great kilt. Am a Faire photographer, so thinking if this will impact that or not. Am sure a fan of the utility kilts - not "authentic" per say, but sure handy with the pockets. Own one kilt from Scotland - no pockets...Feel free to check out photos on my Facebook page - only Faire photos.

Well met Mike. I couldn't resist the image of Sheldon Cooper in full Spock regalia when you mentioned photography at a Ren Faire while wearing a great kilt. I would suggest you keep the attire and incorporate a page to carry the equipment.

Since thin and tiny is the future of photography equipment, I think you will find the digital item that can slip into the folds of a great kilt and not be a distraction to the other fair attendees.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Well, I carry two full-size Nikon D5100/D3400s with long zoom lenses so they won't quite fit into the folds!! But may give it a go anyways. Thanks.

With the cameras you list, you can't duplicate the ten clowns climbing out of a compact car trick. It sounds like you try for time during the events to participate instead of working photos the entire time. Wear the kilt and enjoy when you can.
