Greetings from Northern-Central Lower Michigan
Good evening, all!
Name is Cass, a 35 year-old kilter living in Higgins Lake, MI!
Bought my first kilt in 2011 (acrylic Black Watch that I purchased at a faire with my earnings from hocking pickles for the day). That one broke my heart when I was forced to leave it behind during a hasty, unplanned move.
Got back into kilting this year, purchasing a Scott Green Weathered from USA Kilts, taking my killing to the next level, wearing it more than just to events. Definitely trying to make sure that I get as much use as my beautiful garment deserves.
Mostly here to gain some guidance from long term kilters, since I am actually wearing the kilt in more context than quasi-historical Faire garb.
Slàinte Mhath!

Welcome to the "Great Rabble"!
You might want to edit - are you really into "killing"?

At least it's consistent - it did the same thing twice!

I feel like I should just wait until I am at my PC to post anymore on XMTS, otherwise you'll have to follow me around the forums all day and point this crap out to me, Bill
🤣

Not to worry. So long as we both keep our sense of humour, we're fine!

Welcome from down by Grand Rapids!
I wear my kilts as just plain ol' regular clothes. Kilt and a button-up shirt, mostly. Works just fine.

Welcome from a Scotsman living in the English midlands. Happy kilting! You'll learn a lot from this forum - I'm still learning.
