Greetings..from Ottawa
Hello,
Lurking for the past couple of days, thought I would sign in and say hello.
My name is Scott McKenzie, and I live just outside Ottawa, Ontario. Canada
While visiting the Glengarry Highland games this past weekend in Maxville I (finally) made my first kilt purchase. MacKenzie (modern) 8-yard, for obvious reasons!
Now, I have just been figuring out what to purchase next... who knew it only started with the kilt... Belt, sporran, hose, hmm a couple of nice shirts to go with it, wait, what about shoes?
OK, first step, find second job to pay for all this, then start shopping!
: sigh :
That's about all, so I go back to lurking again until I have something to contribute. Type later,
Scott

Keep the brakes on and see what works. Don't be too impulsive or you will go broke. Take a look at the photos posted here. There is a wealth of information. Welcome from Massachusetts!

Hello and welcome from Savannah, GA.
tulloch makes a good point: it can be hard to go slow at first, but it's probably a good idea...and of course, easier said than done. You'll be able to find direction to so many choices for sporrans, jackets, shoes, hose, etc. on this forum... take your time and sort through them and you may save yourself some money and some duplication in purchasing, too.
