Greetings from the Pacific Northwest
Hey everyone
Jack here, from Squamish, British Columbia, Canada - about 60km north of Vancouver, BC.
I'm not quite kilted yet, but currently in the process of making the plunge. I've learned a lot from this forum already and I believe it has certainly saved me a few potential headaches (not to mention dings in the pocket-book) learning from folks with experience
Heritage wise, I'm an interesting mix: Native American/Irish on my mother's side and Scottish on my dad's side. The link to the old country is through Clan Lamont which my dad's side has long claimed as our own.
I'm looking very much forward to continuing my read through the vast storehouse of knowledge here, and to getting to know some of you better.
Best Regards from the Great White North
