Greetings and salutations from the Netherlands

Finally, after three days of waiting, my account has been activated! And now I can join this community.
My name is Bjorn, and I had intended to make that my screenname, but muscle memory means I went with Melfice instead.

As far as I'm aware, I'm a full-blooded Dutchman, so I cannot claim Scottish heritage, but I wear kilts because they're really, really comfortable to wear.
I own three kilts, of which I really only wear two: a Utilikilt (black Standard), a SportKilt (Wallace tartan) and a Queen of Darkness (don't ask, please) kilt in a green colour, which was very cheap and really shouldn't be called a kilt at all compared to the other two. In it's defence, that one made me decide to finally go for a kilt though.
I'm well aware they're not proper Scottish kilts, but unfortunately I can't justify spending that much money in one go. Maybe one day I'll make it (lottery or a better job) and I can fly down to Scotland and have one woven for me, but that's in the future.
For now, the two kilts I already own are doing what I bought them for. Keeping my butt covered.

I'm lousy at introductions, so I'll quit here. Ask me anything you want to know, and if the question's not too private I'll answer!

Thank you, xdepuydt and Chas.As for my username, that's okay. Melfice works just fine. It's just a shame that the time I didn't want to be Melfice, I accidentally used it anyway. Thank you for the advice though.
