Greetings from the San Francisco Bay Area
Cheers to friends of the tartan, the dram and all other things Scot. First generation American here - my family emigrated from Oban to Glasgow and then on to California with a few years in Calgary in between.
Been to Scotland a few times and still have some family there. Islay is my favorite place (so far).
Certified Financial Planner by day and bad online gaming and guitar player by night. Getting married next year and it will indeed be a kilted affair.
Been lurking here for a while and finally decided to register. I look forward to speaking with you.
Slainte mhath,
Duncan
Edit: Oh, and Clan MacFie!

Thanks kindly for the well wishes. I'll try to make it to the Highland Games in Pleasanton over Labor Day - that's actually right about the time we'll be moving to San Ramon, so it'll be right down the road anyway.
Cheers!
