Greetings from Sarasota, Florida!
Hi all!
Found the site earlier today and knew I had to join up! Looks like a great place...
A little about me, I suppose: I'm a veteran U.S. Marine and a current Law Enforcement Officer. On the side I do stage combat/fight choreography work, teach historical Elizabethan-era rapierwork, and a founder and instructor for the Academy of Combative Arts (website coming soon!) in Largo, Florida. Been spending a lot of time in LA, due to getting involved in TV/Film.
I've played guitar for 21 years, drums for 17, recently decided to pick up the violin again after not playing for probably 22 years (rather daunting) and I'm a brand-new budding piper, taking lessons from Roddy MacDonald in Sarasota.
Let's see... my name, Conley, not only being Irish is also a sept of clan Stewart of Appin.
I'll stop boring you right about now! I appreciate you taking the time to look in on my wee little first post...
