Just a quick hello and thank you for letting me join in on the forums as well as being part of this active community.

I'm not exactly a stranger to the kilt as I was in a Scottish dance group many years ago; many, many years ago.

Admittedly my kilt wearing has been rather hit and miss over the last few years, but I've never given up on my love of this item of clothing or the many other facets of Scottish history and culture.

Looking forward to reading, learning and sharing.

P.S. My handle is actually my mothers maiden name, which is probably the closest I can come to claiming a Scottish connection, or so says the family?

@Artificer. . .I know your leather work, sir. I have the honor of owning one of your tea cup holders; recently purchased right here in Madison/Middleton, WI. Btw, does Milwaukee still have the large folk fair? I was invited to participate years ago when Scotland was specifically honored. That was an inspiring experience!
