Greetings from Southern Illinois
Title says it all, I guess. I'm a student at SIUC in Southern Illinois, and a novice seamstress and a medieval reenactor, which is how I got into kilts and kilt making. I'm actually in the process of making my 4th kilt and that's what brought me here. I was looking for advice on box pleats and every Google search I did had a few hits from XMTS. Every bit of information I've come across has been extremely helpful as I strive to improve my kilt skills from the last one. I'm normally pretty OCD when I sew, but the things I've read here make me want to step up my game even more.
So yeah, before I start writing a novel on here (because that's the kind of mood I'm in right now): hi everyone! I look forward to sharing my kilted creations with you all.
