Greetings’ from “Sunny” Glasgow
I just came across this site and thought “Hey that looks like a nice place” so here I am, I was brought up on the Garrogie Estate on Loch Killin, many, many years ago now. I used to wear the kilt with pride in my youth; however I did stop wearing it due to the many times that the tourists in Inverness would come up behind me and lift my kilt, just to see if it were true. Nowadays having settled in Glasgow and being much older I wear my kilt as often as I can. Hope to get to know at least some of you as time goes by, and looking forward to joining with the happenings as and when I feel I can contribute.
p.s. I like some of the smilies
How do you disperse an angry Scottish mob?
Nae bother - just take up a collection.

I will be wearing my kilt at Model Rail Scotland in the Scottish Exhibition Centre in Glasgow on Saturday 26th February, there are usually quite a few kilts to be seen there.
