Greetings from the Tar Heel State!
Hi, All,
New to X Marks, but an old kilter. My first kilt, some 34 years ago, was an Ancient Macneil by Loch, and it’s showing its age. I didn’t buy another until last year. Now I have six more including a beautiful Robertson Red. Amongst others in my closet are a Paterson Blue, Macbeth modern, and a Macneil modern.
Looking at my ggg-grandparents’ surnames, I am about 60% Scot, and the paper trail confirms most of them. Very nearly all of my Scottish immigrants to America came via Ulster.
I love my kilts (some more than others) and wear them often (not just around he house).
Glad to be here!
