First, thanks to this community and the admins for allowing me to join. I'm fairly new (obviously) to kilt wearing but have recently ordered my second. I became interested first through a group of friends who wear theirs several times a year over the past several years, and in the past year or so increasingly so as I researched and discovered my Scottish ancestry. I hope to learn much here and appreciate the knowledge and comradery I expect I will find. Formal knowledge and information can be researched and found.....experience and detail must be gleaned from those who live it

Thanks for the welcome...much appreciated! Tarheel….I see you are in Mississippi... I grew up there myself. Spent a little time in Oxford at Ole Miss way back in my HS years, beautiful campus and nice town.
