Grretings
Hello everyone, Long time listener first time caller.
I finally signed up here after reading your forum for over a year lol. I'm a stone mason near Toronto, and I made the switch to kilts last summer.
I got myself a duck cloth work kilt and an ex rental dress kilt shortly after. I got a handmade belt and leather sporran, and decent socks. Then I bought tartan to make a great kilt, and put belt loops inside for easy wear. I sewed a field-beg together, and then finally made my own denim/plaid hybrid box pleated kilt. At every step of the way this forum was an invaluable resource, and I probably wouldn't be kilted now without it.
I suppose this is as much a thank you as it is a hello.

Well met new friend. If any thing I said or did helped you (maybe but not likely) you're welcome. Welcome and here's to let you know that you get the chance to assist others in kilting via your experiences.
