Haigh from Edinburgh via the Highlands
Haigh or hello to all
New member who was born and bred in the Highlands, now living in Edinburgh and had an Ancient MacKenzie kilt passed down through the family generations. That was until the family kilt seemed to shrink and no longer fitted me. Despite my disbelief the kilt had not shrunk but I had apparently grown, so now I have got my own ancient MacKenzie kilt which will hopefully again be passed through the generations. Anyway I am now lucky enough to work with the tartan industry in Scotland for the Scottish Tartans Authority. So looking forward to getting involved in the world of kilts through the forum!

Welcome from a Scotsman born in Glasgow [dare I admit it to a man from Edinburgh?] and now living in the English midlands.

I think both cities compliment each other although may not always seem like it!
To use a cliche 'My heart will always be in the Highlands...'!
