Good night,

I'm really pleased to be a new member of this forum! I'm a Gaelic student who loves wearing the kilt. Next August I will start my degree in Skye but currently I live in Spain, where it's not easy to wear it... but I don't care if someone laughs near me, I feel very comfortable and legitimate using it as an alternative to trousers.
Tomorrow the Sutherland Schools Pipe Band is going to play here and it's a great opportunity to wear my kilt! but the weather is slightly hot so I will only wear a white Oxford shirt, without tie, waistcoat or jacket. Maybe I could expose some photos tomorrow, I would appreciate your opinions.

Welcome! The kilt with a white oxford shirt is perfectly appropriate for warm weather. I wear something very similar quite often here in the Washington DC area in the summer.

Hell-o and welcome. Indeed a white oxford is what I wear when it is warm (or should I say HOT).
