Happy to be here!
Hey everyone!
Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Clayton, and I'm a 21-year-old piper from Mississauga, Ontario. I've gone through a few band kilts, but I'm finally looking to make the plunge and actually buy a kilt for myself. I stumbled across the forum through Google, and everyone here seems awesome. Although I've taken a bit of a break from competitive piping while away at university, looking through all these kilt photos really makes me yearn for the band circle. I may end up working in Ottawa for the summer, so maybe I'll make it out to Maxville just for kicks. I need my haggis fix.
Anyhow, I don't really know what else I should say! Thinking of ordering an Armstrong kilt from Sandy St. James... so we'll see how it goes. I don't even know if he's still around, but the price can't be beat.
I'm looking forward to frequenting this place more often and getting to know all of you.
Cheers!
